My photo-based compositions explore memory, time, and the instability of perceived reality. I combine my own photographs with vintage imagery, hand-drawn and painted elements, and digitally constructed environments to create scenes in which past, present, and imagined futures coexist.

 

I am particularly drawn to figures from earlier eras and to the possibilities that emerge when they are displaced from their original contexts. Through juxtaposition, scale shifts, and altered environments, these figures enter unfamiliar worlds—spaces that feel simultaneously historical, contemporary, and outside of time.

 

The works often move between the familiar and the improbable, using architecture, landscape, celestial imagery, animals, and symbolic objects to suggest parallel realities. Rather than constructing fixed narratives, I am interested in creating spaces where memory, imagination, and identity can remain fluid.

 

The process itself is highly layered. Photographs, found imagery, drawing, painting, and digital manipulation are combined until the disparate elements begin to form their own internal logic.

Edition Information

 

The works in this series are available as limited-edition archival pigment prints on fine art paper. Each work is produced in a small signed and numbered edition and printed with an approximately 2-inch border.

 

Select compositions may also be available in larger-format, face-mounted acrylic presentations upon request.
